I returned to John o Groats 20 years ago, having first been here 48 years earlier , when I managed the John O Groats House Hotel , at the very” end of the road”. Having brought my family up here in their younger years, I could not think of a better place to return to in semi- retirement. I live on site accompanied by my wee dog Ellie.
